So I got this chain thing on facebook from couple of friends. I've seen other ones on myspace and facebook where it ask questions, but usually stupid questions so I just go on. This one was different just a blank slat you put 25 things about yourself. I found it neat reading my friend's list so figured I do mine, and put it on my blog. I might still put it on facebook.
Maybe you'll learn something you didn't know.
You are supposed to write a note with 25 random things, facts, habits, or goals about you.
1. I've been married for 11 years. (It keeps getting better each year, my wife is awesome for putting up with me.)
2. I love making my kids laugh.
3. I have a tattoo on my back.
4. Music is awesome, I listen to a very wide variety of music.
5. I don't like things to be scripted.
6. In high school I wish I could have switched my junior year and senior year.
7. I hated playing basketball as a organized sport. (That's why I didn't play my senior year, and wished I would have stopped playing sooner)
8. I tend to be taken advantage of because I care about people.
9. I love warm weather, and being outdoors.
10. I won't send this to 25 people, because I'm weird or normal.
12. I don't do things the way it's always been done alot, because I think that makes us become robots.
13. If your upset because this number isn't 12 you probably have OCD or you are a Robot, and will tell me I numbered this wrong.
14. I like challenging the youth at church, to show them that church isn't a ritual.
15. I have an addiction to racing, and things that go fast. (I raced go karts for 2 years)
16. I love to do skits, and act.
17. I plan on owning my own business and getting out of computer field. (Something other then Ellis Production. I do slide shows because I see the joy people have when they watch the shows.)
18. I'm a computer programmer, because it makes good money, but I hate programming and office life.
19. I have been a DJ @ 3 weddings. (I love music it was easy)
20. I love spending time with my wife.
21. I bite my fingernails.
22. I sing, even though I suck at it.
23. I have several movies that I watch every time I see them on TV, that drives Tiffany crazy. (IRobot, Fast and Furious are just a couple)
24. Everyone calls me country in the office, but I don't mind because my neighbors can't see in my bathroom window from inside their house.
25. If you started reading these from the bottom your probably confused, but if your not confused then your screwed up like me. (Scary you should go get that checked out.)
11. I use this number a lot in my last name for the LL's (this is my racing number e11is)
26. I love my wife and kids.
So there you have it. Now send your list of 25 things to 25 friends before 10 seconds or you will have babies born naked. Is something that I think they usually say for these things. ah man times up.
good day....

.... electricity
So last week was a very crazy week. We got a blast of snow then ice then more snow. Which ended up knocking out our power on Wed morning. You don't realize how much electricity wraps up our lives until it's gone. I think the part that bugged me was not knowing when it was going to come back on. They post it on their website, but hellooo if you don't have electric you can't see it haha. Anyway we have a propane fireplace for this very reason. 4 years ago we got power knocked out for 7 days and with only 1 little one at the time it was hard going places to stay until it came back on. For those of you with kids know that kids love their routines get out of that routine and they're not going to be happy. So we got a fireplace so we can stay warm and not have to find somewhere to go if power goes out. So the power came back on Friday. Then Sat. night it went out again and didn't come on till Sunday afternoon.
But we stayed warm. Just was glad for a hot showers, when the electric came back. :-)
Other news is we now have a new member of the family. Ramzey our White Lab, He has been very good with the kids, and they love him. He's still got some learning to do he's only 10 weeks old now. He is our reward for being debt free to the kids.
I'll post some pictures on next blog of him.

....DEBT FREE

So last year we made our new year's resolution to be finished with our debt snowball (ie Dave Ramsey FPU), and to get out of debt except for the house. Although we did not finish it in 2008 we came close and that's just the way the paychecks fell. But On Friday Jan 2 we sent in our last payment, and now we are debt free........ It feels great! So now we are rolling on to baby step 3 which shouldn't take long. I like making resolutions; you may not achieve some, but you need to have something to try for. This year one of mine is to learn the guitar that Tiff got me last year. I don't expect to do anything big with it I would like to just become good enough to play some basic songs. Hopefully this will be one of the resolutions that I can say I achieved next year. I know though the debt free one is a huge step, for my sons will know that you can be different and succeed. I like the feeling that I'm weird.
